Day 6 of Retirement

If you want to know how to spend a whole day's worth of time, try setting up your own blog.  You think you had decisions to make at work...just decide to be a blogger for the first time and the words: clever, witty, smart, informative, etc. take on a whole new meaning. Before you hit the "publish post" you pray that every word is spelled correctly, grammar is all in place and someone/some where will find this site worthwhile to come back to.

So this is how "Day 6 of Retirement" is going.  Blog page is in place (or the beginnings of it).

Now that that is done it is time to go for a morning walk.  Living out in the country has it perks.  Seventeen miles of road to walk on with cows, horses, few houses, little traffic to distract you from your thoughts.  Oh, Bill and I are still trying to decide if it was a cougar or not that we saw on one of our walks.

Today I will take the camera to share a little bit of that country living.

This is our starting point.  As you notice it is a long down hill walk.

And then we turn around after almost a mile and....

And then what goes down must come up !
Coming back the only thought is, "This is exercise so it must be good"
